Freon Collective is a low-waste lifestyle brand crafted with small-batch production practices in Toronto, Ontario Canada. All products are produced by Nancy Mac and her studio assistant in her downtown Toronto home studio. Our brand was born in 2019 with a goal to provide reusable products as an alternative to disposable ones.
The materials we use are sourced from North America, and we have developed partnerships with designers and artisans to curate the best designs for our brand. We make sure to minimize our waste in production, and use organic and chemical-free materials wherever possible.
All of our cotton rounds, face cloths, and scrunchies are made with 100% organic cotton. We produce minimal textile waste by using all materials to their fullest potential, and where we can't use materials, we make sure to repurpose by donating our scraps to local textile programs.
We are conscious of the ecological footprint that shipping products causes and that is why we use compostable shipping mailers.
As a woman-owned business, we are committed to supporting programs that support women, such as donating a portion of our WOMAN SERIES sales to Nellie's Shelter. Their mission is to operate programs and services for women and children who have and are experiencing oppressions such as violence, poverty and homelessness.
