Sustainability at the Core

Sustainability is at the core of everything we do.

We focus on reducing waste at every stage of production:

  • We use 100% organic cotton for many of our core products
  • All fabrics are printed with eco-friendly inks and dyes
  • We design with material efficiency in mind, minimizing fabric waste
  • Any leftover fabric is reused where possible or donated to local textile recycling programs
  • We use compostable shipping materials and ensure packaging is recyclable or reusable whenever possible
  • We prioritize small-batch production to avoid overproduction and excess inventory

Designed & Made in Toronto

Everything we create is designed, cut, and sewn by hand in our Toronto studio.

We value local production not only for its quality and transparency, but also for its ability to keep our environmental footprint small while supporting local craftsmanship and small business ecosystems.

Being hands-on with our process allows us to maintain high standards while staying connected to the people who use our products.

Natural Fibres & Eco-friendly Inks

We use only natural fibres, such as organic cotton and linen. We partner with innovative mill partners like Kornit, who are committed to thoughtful manufacturing. Kornit printers use non-toxic pigment inks that account for 95.63% less water and emit 83% less carbon (CO2e).

This printing process is designed to minimize the amount of unprinted material through yield optimized material markers, or the layout used to print every design. Each individual design is printed stacked and aligned, using one full roll at a time, limiting the amount of waste fabric needed to start and stop machines.

In short, we ensure that we use natural fibre fabrics and a digital printing process that minimizes waste, and uses water-based non-toxic inks.
